Handcrafted, Natural Ivy Wood Sculpture.

A striking sculptural wall hanging formed from mature Ivy. The twisting stems create a sense of movement and the loops in the branches will support hanging lanterns or LEDs turning any space into a focal point. Designed to interact beautifully with changing light throughout the day, the organic curves of the sculpture cast soft evolving shadows across walls, ceiling or garden backdrop.

4 applications of Tung oil makes this sculpture suitable for indoors or outside.

The wood used in this creation  is responsibly sourced and specially chosen for its shape and character. Any variations in colour are due to natural processes.

After the bark is removed  it is stored for some time then tested for dryness. When the  wood is  seasoned it is then shaped, filed and sanded. Burnishing the wood  gives it that smooth feel.

To make this sculpture suitable for outdoor use, four coats of Tung oil have been applied before the final  polish.
